I use Macs at various locations. MobileMe is the easiest and most dependable way to keep my mail, addressbook, bookmarks, passwords, and iCal calendars synchronized and also have access to files on iDisk.
I don't know why Mac requires this software in order to publish a website (that's my purpose; I don't know what else it is used for), but I paid $99 when I purchased it from Mac and about $30 less when I purchased the next year from Amazon. I think it is ridiculous for Apple to charge more.
My old account expired and I purchased this one to replace it. It's quite adequate for my needs, so I would give an A to the product. Was delivered in incredibly super fast time - I think I got it one or two days after ordering it. So I would rate the service from Amazon as A+
I was worried that is wouldn't work because it says Old Version but I had no problems getting it registered. Great price and, in my opinion, worth the price mostly for iPhone users. You can use it to find a lost iPhone.
It removed nearly half of my address book, mainly all the cell phone numbers which of course synced to my phone. This caused a lot of problems for me. Calendar changes never work, half the time things I delete come back the next day and I have to continue to delete them. Attempting to keep your calendar synced with your phone and mac and with a PC is a bit of a pain as well. Maybe its something I set up wrongly, but even still, this product has caused more problems than its fixed.
